The architect Bartolomeo Sorrentino, founder of the group, thanks to an extensive and consolidated experience as technical director, project manager and assistance to testing in the civil works and commercial systems sector on behalf of a major construction player, decides to condense his know-how and its network of contacts and relationships by acting personally in business and freelance activities.

 

In 1989 the Architech studio of associated architects was born, which brings together some of the main protagonists of the architecture and design of the area. After a period dedicated to the running in of small redevelopment works of old buildings, of historical-artistic importance or disused, the studio begins to shift the interest towards large civil works through a partnership with some local contractors.

 

In fact, the preliminary, executive and definitive projects of the main commercial plants in the southern and northern metropolitan area of Naples and southern Italy are signed by some of the firm's professionals on behalf of solid retail distribution groups - La Rinascente, Auchan, Ipercoop, Emmezeta for to name a few - such as "City Market" in Pompeii (1989), Auchan Shopping Center in Mugnano (1990), "San Sperate" Shopping Center in Cagliari (1999), "Quartonuovo" Shopping Center in Quarto (2003).

It was in 2005 that Impresa Urbania Srl was born, constituting the first and main vehicle of the group, set up to carry out infrastructural works, participate in public tenders and carry out environmental remediation activities. The ordinary and extraordinary maintenance interventions at important logistic centers of the country, such as the logistics platform of Castello di Cisterna - in the industrial area of Naples - belong to the history of this company.  and the Polo del Freddo di Sammontana SpA in Montelupo Fiorentino - in the industrial area of Empoli, as well as minor interventions in the metropolitan area of Naples.

 

Within a growing consolidation and search for international operations in complementary business areas, in 2010 the BFP Societè Genèrale du Batiment was born, with other partners, based in Nice, concurrently with the prospect of significant business opportunities. in the south of France. Significant works have been completed, in partnership both with leading contractors, such as the Fayat Group - the third largest builder in France, with a consolidated turnover of around 3 billion euros (2017) - and with high-standing real estate developers, such as Provence Habitat on the French Riviera, carrying out interventions in the cities of Marseille, Cannes, Saint-Tropez, Draguignan and Aix-en-Provence.

 

In 2013, in response to the general defective phases of the construction industry, Dedalo Srl was founded to be able to capture interests and market shares in a strategic area, such as the development and management of civil and industrial properties and the redevelopment of buildings. disused and abandoned.  

 

The interest and the substantial investment of resources and human capital poured into civil works and property management is strengthened in September 2016, when the group decides to create an ad hoc company in charge of managing a real estate portfolio, Genim Res Srl, to which civil and industrial properties located in the north-east of the country are immediately attributed.
